Williams Promoted to Foothills Heating Fuels Manager

Lenoir, North Carolina (November 22, 2005) – Shelia Williams has been promoted to Foothills Heating Fuels Manager for Blue Ridge Energies, a propane and heating fuels subsidiary of Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation.

In her new role, Williams will manage all propane, heating fuel and kerosene operations of the Caldwell and Catawba County offices.

“My focus is on pleasing our customers and ensuring that Blue Ridge Energies is their number one choice for heating and energy needs,” said Williams.

Williams joined the Blue Ridge team in March 2000 and has served as fuel management supervisor, where she oversaw dispatching, inventory of bulk plants, and invoicing. She has been responsible for the purchase of propane for all Blue Ridge Energies service locations.

Williams is married to Johnny Williams and they have two adult children.

Blue Ridge Energies serves customers with propane, heating fuel, and kerosene from offices in Lenoir, Hickory, Boone, West Jefferson and Sparta. The company also offers gas logs, fireplaces, stoves, wall heaters and accessories in showrooms located in the Lenoir, Boone, West Jefferson and Sparta district offices of Blue Ridge Electric.
