Williams Earns Degree, Receives Skill Development Award from Blue Ridge Electric

Lenoir, North Carolina (February 18, 2003) – Cindy Williams, fuel management associate with Blue Ridge Energies, recently earned an Associate Degree in Applied Science, with a concentration in Information Systems, from Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute.

As a result, Williams was awarded the Employee Skill Development Award from Blue Ridge Energies. The cash award is designed to defray educational costs and recognize an employee’s efforts in      advancing their education and contribution to the company. It is part of the company’s Incentive Compensation Plan that rewards employees for knowledge, commitment, and performance.

Williams resides in Lenoir with her husband David and step-daughter, Jesse Williams.
