Jordan Promoted to Heating Fuels Manager for Ashe County

West Jefferson, North Carolina (February 7, 2006) – Scott Jordan has been promoted to heating fuels manager for the Ashe County office of Blue Ridge Energies, a propane and heating fuels subsidiary of Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation with service to residential, commercial and industrial customers in northwest North Carolina.

Jordan has held the position of service supervisor at the Ashe office of Blue Ridge Energies for the past few years and has experience in supervision of propane and heating fuels delivery as well as in installation of various products sold by Blue Ridge Energies, including gas logs, stoves, heaters and furnaces.

In his new role, Jordan will manage all propane, heating fuel and kerosene operations of the Ashe office of Blue Ridge Energies. He will also oversee installation service and maintenance for gas hearth products sold at the company showroom located in the district office of Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation on Mt. Jefferson Road.

Jordan is a native of Ashe County and graduated from the former Beaver Creek High School. He and his wife, Melanie, and children, Amanda and Kala, live in the Fleetwood community and attend Orion Baptist Church. Jordan is also a member of Fleetwood Fire and Rescue is in good standing with the N.C. Association of Rescue and Emergency Medical Services

Blue Ridge Energies, a subsidiary of Blue Ridge Electric, provides propane and heating fuels to residential, commercial and industrial customers in Ashe, Alleghany, Watauga, Avery, Caldwell and Catawba Counties.
